I am a post-soviet travel freak with a passion to see the world which was once behind the iron curtain and once later hindered from travelling by the lack of resources. Now that I have those resources, opportunities and most importantly - time, I am trying to get advantage of my current situation and enjoy new countries and experiences as much as I can.
It has been ten years when I first went overseas at the age of 22 - I visited the US right after I graduated from the university - and since then I have been to many countries and made many new friends all over the world.
I categorize here my trips into PAST and FUTURE categories — you can ASK ME FOR ADVISE regarding the countries I have visited so far and hopefully I can help somehow with some information about them.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, please, see the list of countries I am planning to visit in the future (hopefully near future), and IF YOU CAN PLEASE JOIN ME ON THOSE TRIPS.
I have planned several trips with my friends who live in other countries in the past, we would meet in some place and have a trip together and it works our great. So, if you are interested in visiting any of the countries that I want to visit, please, let me know and let us travel together! Otherwise, please, suggest to me any other place that you want to visit, I am always open to any suggestions!

The United States, twice: Alaska (Anchorage, Fairbanks), East Coast (NY, Philly, Washington DC, Villanova, Boston, Virginia), MidWest (Chicago, Iowa), South (Tennessee, Arkansas).
Cuba (Habana, Varadero)
Canada (Toronto, Niagara Falls)
ASIA
Korea, twice (Seoul only) - great food!! And sauna!
Thailand (BK, Pattaya, Samui) - absolute tropical paradise, it is a must
Singapore, twice - very nice
Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur and then travelled by bus with my friend Ioanna througout the country)
Vietnam
Cambodia (Phnom Penh and Angkor Watt) - OMG!! This is an absolute must!! It was one of the best trip I have ever taken. Btw, if you go there, contact our friend - a driver in PP, his name is Sary (contact info: sary_funny@yahoo.com)

New Zealand (fluorescent warm caves impressed me the most, you go by boat down the river in the cave and see the milky way of warm-stars on the ceiling), sheep farms, etc. are nice, too.

Norway (Bergen, Oslo) - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!
Belgium (Bruxelle)
Austria (Wien) - the best atmosphere
Germany (Hamburg) - Hamburg is a Venice of Germany
Denmark (Kopenhagen)

UK (London, Oxford) - “The Phantom of the Opera” was beyond description. Way better than any of the Broadway musicals I have seen in the past. It - and “Riverdance” - were the best performances I have ever seen (including figure skating acrobatics, sumo, and so on). I would come back even if only for operas and musicals.

Egypt (Cairo, Luxor, Hurgada)
